Sitting in our apartment trying to avoid doing kanji homework.. For those of you who doesn't know what kanji is I'll tell you now, it's the Chinese alphabet which is used in the Japanese language alongisde their 2 other alphabets. Kanji is FRICKIN' hell since I can't remember where the heck that line is going and what was that again and blah! Everyday you learn at least 12 kanjis and on mondays we have kanji quizzes that are on the 5 batches we've had (one batch is 12 kanjis) so it's a lot of them! To be able to read a Japanese magazine "flawlessly" you need to know around 3000 kanjis. I have a long way to go........
